Help Voices Against Brain Cancer (VABC) by participating in the NYC Half-Marathon!
We are pleased to announce our participation as a Charity Partner in the 2009 New York City Half-Marathon on Sunday, August 16th. If you were hoping to run in this year's sold out half-marathon and would like to help raise money for VABC, combine the two and run on the VABC Half-Marathon team!
All participants are challenged to raise a minimum of $2,500 for VABC. Funds raised will support our mission to find a cure for brain cancer by advancing scientific research, increasing awareness within the medical community and supporting patients and families afflicted with this devastating disease.
Though we would like to accommodate everyone who is interested, we've been allotted a limited amount of spaces to fill, so please email us, or call Darren Port at 646.278.6735 by June 30th with the following information:
- First and last name
- Country of residence
- Email address
- Picture you want to use on your fundraising page
- A goal of $2,500 or higher
Slots will be filled on first-come, first-served basis. Each person who is accepted will have an online fundraising page set up for them.
